30 Nov Brave Paleontologists – Grade 0000 R and P
Our brave little explorers got the opportunity to dig through some gooey jelly to find the fossil dinosaurs that were hidden away. On another excursion, our paleontologists had to excavate frozen eggs to retrieve some more dinosaur fossils that had been stuck in those ice moulds for millions of years! They showed such courage and determination under tough conditions as they dug their way through the gooey jelly and rock-hard ice to get to the ancient and fascinating creatures.
This fun activity allowed our children the opportunity to use their imaginations and problem-solving skills, as they worked their way through getting the dinosaurs out of either jelly or an ice mould. They showed such resilience, managing to extract every dinosaur from the mould. They also became familiar with different types of dinosaurs and learned their names.
