KLM Foundation Awards Young Students 14 June 2019

The Kgwale Le Mollo (KLM) Foundation awards young students from economically-disadvantaged, rural communities in the Mpumalanga province of South Africa with an education scholarship to attend Uplands College. Founded in 2005 in collaboration with Uplands College, the KLM Foundation identifies and nurtures young South Africans with the potential to lead their country into the future. Every year an extensive selection process is conducted in order to select the Gr 7 student who meets all the selection criteria. This student undergoes six months of orientation to Uplands before starting in Grade 8.

We are very pleased to welcome Shaun Balogan and Blessing Monareng to Uplands College for 2020. Shaun comes from Vutselani Primary School and Blessing from Mpunzana Primary.

Should you wish to learn more about the KLM programme and how we support it, please contact Bridget Gibson (bgibson@uplands.co.za).
