Marine Biologists embark on ‘Under the Sea Adventures.’ – Grade 0K

Adventures a-plenty we’ve had under the sea.  We started in a rockpool where we learned about the little creatures that live hidden in the rocks and alcoves: sea urchins, jellyfish, and sea stars, to name a few.  Going on deeper into the sunlight zone we meet a sharp-toothed shark, pufferfish and various rays.  Deeper and deeper we drop to the depths of the twilight and midnight zones. What’s that light we see before us?  Beware, an Angler fish luring us to a mouth full of teeth.  Phew, a lucky miss!   What an adventure it has been! We’ve had fun learning about the beautiful sea and the amazing creatures found in the different zones.  The most important lesson we have come away with is our duty to protect the ocean and all its life.
