07 Mar Thinking Maps
As a teaching tool, the Grade 0 teachers have been using ‘Thinking Maps’ to help the children clarify, organise, communicate, and group ideas and information about a topic. Thinking maps are a fun way of capturing information and exploring a theme or idea.
The Circle Map is introduced first as it is the easiest of the ‘Thinking Maps’ for young children to grasp. It is used to generate ideas, assess what they already know, and also what they still need to learn.
