Cuddly Cubs is our youngest class and, for many children, their very first experience away from home. We recognise this as both a privilege and a great responsibility.
At this stage, children need to feel deeply safe, known, and loved. Our Cuddly Cubs environment is intentionally calm, nurturing, and familiar — a true home away from home where children can settle, form secure attachments, and begin their school journey with confidence.
In the early years, emotional security is the foundation for all future learning. Before children are ready to explore, play, and learn, they need to feel safe, comforted, and connected.

Learning in Cuddly Cubs is entirely play-based and guided by each child’s developmental stage. Through play, children make sense of the world, develop early skills, and build confidence.

The Cuddly Cubs years are a critical time for sensory and perceptual development. Our programme intentionally supports brain–body development through movement, sensory play, and hands-on experiences.
These early foundations support healthy development, strengthen children’s sense of connection and belonging.
Cuddly Cubs enjoy safe, inviting indoor and outdoor spaces designed especially for young children. Our dedicated playground is age-appropriate, secure, and shared only with their peers.
Indoors, spaces are calm and welcoming. Outdoors, children enjoy grass, shade, trees, and fresh air — offering freedom to explore in a relaxed, natural setting.
Despite being part of a larger school, the Cuddly Cubs environment remains gentle and informal, ensuring children never feel overwhelmed by formality.
