There are so many reasons why I chose education and in particular to apply my trade at Uplands Preparatory School. This is a school with an established ethos and a set of values that are non-negotiable. These values include the importance of relationships, showing respect to all those we may come in contact with, behaving with integrity and standing strong in our Christian faith.
In a world where money can buy so much, these values cost nothing. If all Uplands’ children can enter the big world with a set of trusted values, they will be able to succeed in whatever they choose to become involved in.
Having a position in sports at Uplands is so rewarding for me as I absolutely love coaching young people and being part of their successes on the sports field.
Claudia, my wife, is also involved at Uplands Prep as a Grade 1 teacher. Although we breathe, eat and sleep at Uplands, this is a truly special place. My son Guy is in Grade 5 at Uplands and we are so grateful for all the opportunities he has been granted here.
