Uplands College hosted a highly successful Open Day, welcoming over 100 prospective families to experience the vibrant spirit and excellence of the school. The day provided an immersive introduction to academics, boarding life, and co-curricular activities, offering families a glimpse into the exceptional education and holistic development that define Uplands.
The event featured campus tours and a comprehensive presentation by key school leaders:
- Mr Allan Laing, Head of Uplands College, who outlined the school’s vision and values.
- Mrs Kerry Dewar, Head of Academics, who shared insights into Uplands’ rigorous academic programs.
- Mr Mark Blew, Head of Boarding and Pastoral Care, who highlighted the warm and supportive residential experience.
- Mr Dean Forword, Head of Co-Curricular Activities, who emphasised the extensive sports, arts and leadership opportunities available.
- Adding a personal touch, current school mentors inspired prospective pupils with their stories and experiences, giving visitors a true sense of the Uplands community.
