Ash Wednesday is a special Service on our Calendar at Uplands. Being rooted in our Anglican Faith, we hold to this important day in the Church Calendar.
This day every year, celebrated with the global Church, is all about remembering that our lives are short, and that we need to return to God with all our hearts, if we are going to make the most of our lives. It is also a reminder of the frailty of life and the fact that in each moment, we have a choice of good and God, or self. Bless you, as we are in this season of Lent and building up to Easter, which is what Ash Wednesday is finally symbolic of.
