It is with enormous pride and great celebration that we announce the 2025 IEB NSC results.
Our Grade 12 cohort of 2025 has delivered an outstanding set of final examination results, surpassing expectations and finishing their schooling careers on a remarkable high.
This cohort is often referred to as the College’s “Covid cohort” — pupils who began Grade 8 during a time of global uncertainty and unprecedented disruption. Their early high school years were shaped by online learning, hybrid classrooms and constant change. Yet, rather than being defined by these challenges, they rose above them. Through resilience, adaptability and determination, this group grew in confidence and strength, emerging as a cohort characterised by grit, maturity and purpose.
We are especially proud of the academic momentum they built throughout their Grade 12 year, culminating in their strongest performance at the final hurdle. Their results reflect not only academic ability, but also perseverance, discipline and a genuine commitment to learning. They embody the true spirit of lifelong learners — young people who continually strive to grow, improve and achieve excellence.
These exceptional outcomes are a celebration of Uplands’ rigorous academic programme and our deep commitment to academic excellence. Academics are central to life at Uplands and are given the time, structure and focus they deserve. Purposeful timetable enhancements, including daily academic consultation periods, have enabled pupils to consolidate their learning effectively, while supervised study sessions have provided valuable academic “breathing room” within a structured and supportive environment. Our Matric Mastery Camp during the Term 3 half-term break offered dedicated, focused revision time, sharpening preparation and boosting confidence.
Most importantly, these results are a celebration of our exceptional teaching staff — educators who consistently go above and beyond. Their expertise, passion and tireless dedication, including countless hours of support during school time, weekends and half-term breaks, have empowered our pupils to grow in confidence, skill and academic maturity. This achievement belongs to our teachers across every phase of Uplands, from quadruple zero in the pre-preparatory school through to our final-year Grade 12 educators in the College. Together, they have played a pivotal role in shaping this success story.
