After leaving Uplands, I went to the University of Pretoria and studied Psychology. I am currently doing my Honours degree. It has not been a smooth ride, but it has been a journey I have enjoyed so much. I have met incredible people and have made some amazing friends. This journey has been something I am proud of.
At Uplands, I was in Bishop Boarding, where I connected with so many people, and I enjoyed every moment of boarding life. I have many special memories, and as I look back, that has been the best time of my life – so far. I also had a ‘second’ family within the Uplands community and I will always cherish that.
My advice to the youngsters would be: Enjoy every opportunity that comes your way. Do not be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and try something new. The years go by so quickly, so make the most of that time and I will guarantee that you will have the most unforgettable memories to look back on!
