The Uplands Christmas Market 2025 took place on Sunday 2 November in the beautiful gardens of Uplands College.
Despite cool, drizzly weather, the misty atmosphere created a magical, European-style Christmas market ambiance. Stallholders were delighted with the turnout and once again expressed their enthusiasm to be part of this special annual event.
More than 80 unique and vibrant stalls set up along the patio, with a few hardy vendors braving the lawns under gazebos. Shoppers enjoyed a wonderful array of flavours – from tacos and halloumi to Asian and Indian cuisine – accompanied by aromatic warm coffee. The Uplands PTA contributed to the festive spirit by selling refreshing beverages and showcasing their supporters’ merchandise.
Children were kept happily entertained in the inflatable play area while parents explored and shopped for thoughtful Christmas gifts.
Adding to the festive mood, the Salvation Army performed Christmas carols and selected musical pieces in the stretch tent, followed by lively performances from our own talented Uplands College pupils. Thank you to everyone who supported this Uplands Foundation fundraising initiative. Your participation contributed to a memorable and successful event.
