Uplands College recently welcomed prospective families to its much-anticipated 2026 Open Day, offering an engaging and immersive look into life at the College.
The weekend provided visiting families with the opportunity to explore the Uplands campus, interact with members of the management team, staff and pupils, and gain a deeper insight into the school’s academic philosophy, pastoral care and vibrant community culture.
The programme began on Friday, the 6th of March 2026, with entrance assessments for prospective pupils, followed by an optional overnight boarding experience that allowed visitors to experience first-hand the rhythm and camaraderie of boarding life at Uplands. Saturday’s Open Day programme included a welcome address from the College’s management team, highlighting Uplands’ commitment to nurturing well-rounded, confident young people through a balanced approach to academic excellence, character development and co-curricular opportunities. Guided campus tours then gave families the chance to explore the College’s facilities and beautiful grounds. The event concluded with refreshments and informal conversations between visiting families and members of the Uplands community.
The College has since received very positive feedback from parents who attended, with many expressing appreciation for the warm atmosphere, the opportunity to engage with staff and pupils, and the insight gained into the distinctive Uplands experience.
