The start of our Uplands Founders celebration is underway, and it kicked off appropriately with a full Uplands Preparatory Senior Phase and College Chapel Eucharist Service.
Celebrating 98 years is a special milestone, and we as a Community were reminded in Chapel today through Psalm 100 (Gratitude for God’s goodness), 1 Corinthians 12 and 13 (One Body, Many Parts Concept) and Matthew 7 (Building House on Rock, Christ as our Foundation), that Uplands is 98 and strong, with so much to look forward to because of our Cornerstone: Christ. Our Values, Community, Unity, Education and all else we represent are made up of this vision from 1928 carried through to us today.
May we grow in strength as a community and know the extraordinary light we all carry. Our prayer is also that we continue on in perseverance to forge a good, lasting legacy at Uplands – a wonderful, special place called home. God Bless you all, and enjoy the festivities continuing into this weekend!
