The campus itself reflects our commitment to growth and improvement. With the recent upgrade of facilities, we have not only beautified our grounds but transformed our sports offerings. The addition of new Astro fields at Uplands Preparatory is a prime example, elevating the quality of our sports programme and providing a top-notch space in which our young athletes can train and compete. Additionally, our High-Performance Centre at the College has secured a valuable sponsorship with Futurelife, integrating world-class nutrition and health programmes into our pupils’ athletic training, thus ensuring that our athletes are fit, focused, and fuelled to achieve their best.
Further enhancing the Uplands experience, the recent opening of our Beans and Badges uniform and coffee shop adds a personal touch to our campus. This Uplands-managed initiative not only makes uniform shopping easier for our families but also offers a welcoming space for parents, pupils and boarders alike to unwind and enjoy refreshments in a cosy setting.
Our campus updates extend to practical improvements too. The newly upgraded access road enhances the experience of entering our beautiful campus, which features the renowned macadamia grove entrance, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the very start. In line with our commitment to a sustainable future, we have introduced several initiatives focused on renewable energy sourcing and recycling, underscoring our dedication to environmental stewardship.
One of the most promising signs of our progress and appeal is the remarkable growth in our enrolment. In 2024, we have achieved a full return to pre-COVID student numbers, with a robust waiting list in 75% of our grades for 2025. This overwhelming interest speaks volumes about the confidence our stakeholders place in Uplands, further establishing our school as a top choice for forward-thinking education.

Uplands is a co-educational family school nestled in the scenic countryside of White River, Mpumalanga, welcoming students from the age of 18 months through to Grade 12.
